Check out how the steel and glass complements the traditional stone masonry on this raised terrace in the market town of Middleton-in-Teesdale, County Durham. The glass allows for beautiful views of the reservoir whilst not obstructing views of the stonework of the house itself. One end has a handrail to account for the drop.
The glass is toughened safety glass and has been polished and edged, with the balustrade using 316-grade (exterior grade) stainless steel handrails, poles and fixings.
Excellent service; quality result. The two lads completing the job were excellent and we are delighted with the results. I’m confident it will all stand up to the wind if another “Beast from the East” blows in. Thank you.
